How much do sessions cost?

If you are in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, your sessions will be billed directly to insurance, and you will only be responsible for any deductible and/or co-pay.  Not every type of Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance applies, and insurance does not reimburse every type of therapy session. Health insurance especially does not generally cover couples counseling.  Here's a great article on that:  "Does insurance cover couples therapy?"

I encourage you to contact your health insurance provider and specifically ask for benefits for "outpatient behavioral health services" and if seeking couples therapy, ask if they reimburse for diagnostic code Z63.0.   If you have different insurance or do not have insurance, please contact me to discuss rates.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes.  I have a sliding scale available for those who qualify for income and other life circumstances.  I can only offer sliding scale to a limited number of clients, so availability is not guaranteed.

When I do have availability for sliding scale, I can be found at  Open Path Psychotherapy Collective, a non-profit nationwide network of mental health professionals dedicated to providing in-office and online mental health care—at a steeply reduced rate—to individuals, couples, children, and families in need.
